Faux Fur Love

Lately the weather has been horrid! It's been bitterly cold and sometimes when its as cold as it has been one can lose the motivation to blog regularly (as you probably noticed due to the lack of blog posts) however, I feel like the weather is getting a bit better and my love to blog along with my motivation to do so is back in full swing!!

I thought I'd start off by posting a look that I seriously love. This look includes a few items that I have been seriously loving and wearing to death. I'm usually not one that likes faux fur but this faux fur gilet from Zara stole my heart the moment I laid eyes on it and same goes for the black H&M boots that I have been practically living in. Other items featured in this look include a blue turtle neck that I purchased a long time ago (and I can't even remember where from), my trusty black mini Primark skirt and my Primark bowler hat that I am always wearing (it goes with everything!).

Look of the week

Kendal Jenner looked flawless in a  Balmain olive green mini dress, from the fall 2014 Balmain collection, as she made her way to a fashion event this week. The long sleeved structured olive green dress featured pleated leather detailing as well as a beautiful cinched waist. Kendall competed this look with a sleek, chic long ponytail and minimal accessories which was perfect because it allowed this beautiful dress to shine as the statement piece that it is.

Blacked out

Like I said in my last post I'm obsessed with the current monochrome trend, so it is probably no surprise that this look is another monochrome look. This look consists of a few of my current favourite items that are so versatile and can be styled in so many different which is probably why I love them so much.

Blazer - H&M
Lace Bralet - Topshop
Skirt - Missguided.com
Heels - Next

Monochrome mesh

This look has two of my current favourite trends in one, those trends being monochrome and mesh. I'm probably not the only one who is going monochrome and mesh crazy (although my liking towards this trend is bordering on obsession). I feel like you can't go wrong with a monochrome look and you can even add a splash of colour if you're in the mood to.

Necklace - Mothers
Mesh white top - prettylittlething.com
Skirt - Missguided.com
Shoes - Matalan

Look of the week

This weeks look of the week is a little bit early but that's simply because for me this outfit was just way too cute and fabulous to not have it as a look of the week, with that being said this weeks look of the week for me goes to Taylor Swift! To be honest Taylor Swift isn't someone I pay particular attention to in terms of her fashion HOWEVER, lately I have been slightly obsessed with her because I feel like she has stepped things up in the fashion department and I am loving it 100%.

It is hard to believe that anyone can look this good after a workout but Taylor Swift manages to do just that as she walks out of a New York gym looking flawless in a yellow Miu Miu short sleeved jumper with hounds tooth print featuring some black and white detailing around the neckline as well as a A-lint mint Topshop skirt, and a beautiful Dolce & Gabbana shoulder bag. To really top the look off Taylor included subtle accessories such as her Prada sunglasses.

LBD

Every girl needs a LBD for different occasions whether it's for a casual day or a night on the town with the girls. This LBD from forever 21 is great for a casual day out or you could also dress it up if you wanted to, with a killer pair of heels, a statement necklace and a beautiful clutch.I personally love the versatility of this dress and how comfortable it is!
Dress: Forever 21
Necklace: Primark
Cuff: H&M
Bag: Zara

OOTD

It's been a LONG time since I posted anything let alone a OOTD but here is one and I hope you enjoy. All information about this outfit can be found down below with links if available.

Lace Black Bralett - Topshop
White High waisted Jeans - Topshop

Look of the week

This week's look of the week is a  bit late due to the fact that I've had so much going on and as a consequence I didn't have time to post on Sunday, but I guess it's better late than never . . . . So here we go!

Once again the look of the week for me has to go to Rihanna (don't worry she's not going to be the look of the week every week!). Rihanna looked stunning at the 2014 Met Gala in a white Stella McCartney ensemble which fit her like a glove, and showed off her amazing figure! The accessories were kept to a minimum allowing her beautiful outfit to take centre stage. The Stella McCartney masterpiece featured an exposed back which just added more to the outfit. Rihanna was one of many to be dressed by Stella McCartney, however she definitely outshone everyone else in my opinion, scroll down and take a look for your self.

Look of the week

If you read my previous post titled change (if not click on it and check it out) you would know that I've recently been getting inspiration from so many new and wonderful blogs and every time I visit a blog there seems to always be a particular look that I fall head over heals in love with, so I decided that from now on I will be featuring my favourite look of the week every Sunday.

The first look of the week for me has to go to the hotness that is Rihanna. Rihanna wore a black lace Givenchy Couture dress to the iHeartRadio awards. It is fair to say that this is a bit of a risqué choice of dress but no one could pull this dress off better than Rihanna, she is queen of risqué. I know that this may not be everyone's cup of tea but I for one absolutely adore this outfit (and Rihanna).

Change

It has been ages since I last blogged or posted an OOTD. Things have been so hectic and a lot has changed in such a short space of time, I started uni, met a lot of new people, I changed and grew a lot as person and as a consequence my style has changed/is still changing.

My long hiatus is partly to do with the fact that at one point I wasn't sure why I was blogging or what I should blog about and I realised that I was over-thinking something that was so simple. I realised that I should blog about what I wanted to blog about because this is MY blog and MY space in which I can and should be able to express myself.  With this realisation I started to really miss posting on here about anything and everything fashion related that I found interesting.

One thing that has really changed and is still changing is my individual style as well as where I get my  inspiration from, lately I've been obsessed with Tumblr (a bit late I know) and I've stumbled across so many  amazing Tumblr pages that have opened my eyes to different styles and fashion trends that I would usually not pay much attention to. I've really been loving the all white trend, it is just so clean cut and fresh, and my love for an all black outfit has increased drastically. I could all day about all the trends and items that I am currently loving but I think that would make this post way to long and bit boring to be honest so instead take a look at some of the fashion trends and item's that I am in love with at the moment.

My Favourite Kim K outfits

I've always loved Kim Kardashian but my love for her has grown to a whole new level. The new Kim is so much more edgy, chic and (in my opinion) on trend, hence why I've included a few of my favourite Kim K outfits of 2013. I feel that lately Kim has stepped her fashion game up and I am just loving it all! :) xox

Summer OOTD

It's always a good day when the sun comes out in England & thankfully today was one of those few good days, although it did get a bit too hot for me at times but I still enjoyed the beautiful day. In order to keep cool throughout the day I chose a burgundy crop top from Ark, along with a chiffon black high low skirt from River Island and some sandals from Primark. To accessorize I chose a statement gold necklace.

Bye for now :) xox

OOTN

Yesterday was my sixth form prom and boy was it AMAZING!!!!
For the special night of celebration with all the amazing people I've met I wanted to wear something that was comfortable but also very different from the traditional prom dress, hence why I chose this outfit which consists of a black slit skirt with a gold zip from River Island, a white crop top with black and gold necklace detailing attached to the top from New Look, a black and gold clutch also from New Look and patent black high heels from Next.
I had a great time dancing, eating, drinking and being around funny, happy and amazing people that I will miss (I already miss them to be honest) so much :(.
As they say as one door closes another opens

Bye for now xox :)

Celebrity style crush

It's fair to say that the majority of us have a (or a few) celebrity style crushes that we just love. For me, my celebrity style crush would have to be Rihanna! Some may love her and some may not but I for one love her and her style, although it's fair to say that some of her outfits are a bit too risky for me at times however, that does not take away the fact that she knows a thing or two about fashion which is demonstrated in the killer outfits she's always rocking.
Down below are SOME (there are way too many for just one blog post) of my favourite outfits worn by Rihanna.

Spring 2013

If you live in England you wouldn't think that we are currently meant to be in Spring because the weather is AWFUL, but that hasn't stopped me from browsing the Internet and looking at all the beautiful things out there. To be honest I just want the sun to come out and play already, I need some sun in my life.

For some reason recently I've been obsessed with a few items lately such as blazers, as well as crop tops and printed trousers.
I've included a few of my absolute favorites in this post.
Enjoy :) xox

Classic, chic and clean. These are some of the words that come to mind when looking at this blazer, not to mention this blazer is very much on trend at the moment, due to the monochrome trend.

I'm not someone who is usually into patterned trousers however these were the first pair of patterned trousers I fell in love with, so these are to blame for my current obsession with patterned trousers.

Although these trousers aren't really spring appropriate I still love them & think they would be great if you're going out to dinner.
